Big gap in responding–been in Portugal + Spain (instead of Honduras). Refreshing change of pace from Latin America–delightful indeed. Initial attraction to Honduras was its low-cost Caribbean location but extra research eliminated it.

Catching up on your newsletters, I too have been recharging in Prince Edward Island after years of travel/living ‘away’. September will travel again, seeking warm climate home base, so down-sizing/storage/agonizing over tossing precious items always upsetting. Hoped Ecuador would be home but didn’t suit criteria; now intrigued by Amazonian cacao farm for sale, may return to there to check it out! Otherwise headed to Honduran (east) coast for that elusive home base (probably psychological reason for NOT choosing one!) Toronto’s my home town too!
