Hi Jessica,
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the video. I’m getting the hang of them! 😉
Glad the bumps in your first visit didn’t prevent you from returning. As I’ll be elaborating more on in a future post, I certainly haven’t ruled out returning, but it must be under the right circumstances.

I really did feel as if I was walking those streets with you. It was very natural.

I can totally relate to everything you said. I have been to India three times, the first as a solo female traveler for a month or so, and it was a bit of a rollercoaster for me too. But I did learn a lot from it and it never stopped me from going back. A country of contrasts, for sure!

Hi Mariellen!
I’m so happy you found that sweet spot – one that continues to nurture you now, on your 10th trip to India! And how lucky was I to meet up with you on arrival?!?! Very lucky. 🙂

Those first few days at the Fairmont Hotel in Jaipur were divine. As much as I love India, I’m the first to admit that finding a sanctuary is sometimes necessary. I’m also the first to admit that India is not for everyone. There’s a sweetspot of timing and attitude that makes India the perfect destination. By luck or destiny, I was in that sweetspot when I first arrived 12 years ago. Hence the reason I love India.
