Hi Sheena,
So true! The same applies for me. Just the opportunity to “live” anywhere in the world is a great blessing. We needn’t “conquer” every place we stay; to just “be” there is amazing as it is. 🙂

I love setting up in to a new place, getting to know the the area and feeling a part of where I am. I’m quite happy to just hang out at home while I’m somewhere new. Just ‘being’ there is enough ?. I have a very long list of places all over the world that I want to live in for 3-12mths. The more I travel the longer the list gets ☺

I know what you mean about the cheapest isn’t always the best accommodation. I totally agree and look for the best value for what I am looking for at the time too. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
