Man, your website is FILLED with value and resources. I am always curious about how other full/long-time travellers make it work and appreciate learning of different ways to make seeing the world possible. Thank you so much for all of the time, detail, and transparency.
Hope to catch you at a travel event again in the future.
Cheers,
-Tara

Hi Pursottam,
Thanks for visiting my site!
Unfortunately your question is way more complex than can be answered in a comment, but you can get started with this article, the first 2 chapters of which focus on freelance writing: https://www.theprofessionalhobo.com/make-money-while-traveling/
Hope this helps!

I come to your website for quora and seriously you’re amazing. It shows that you can earn money (more money) from online sources while traveling to the world. I’m also a traveler and want to be a freelance writer but don’t know how to approach it, will you please tell me how can I approach the sites like Lonelyplanet or Budget Your Trip for freelance articles. Thanks

Hi Gabrielle,
I totally lucked out. I put a call out for help to my friends on FB, and a friend of mine who is a landlord said they had a vacancy.
While they didn’t admit it, I believe I got the “friends and family” rate. 😉

I’ve been an avid fan of yours for a while and marvel at your kefestyle and abilities. One small question poped up in my mind with your current situation (and I hope it is ojay to ask)… Where in Toronto is it affordable to live (have a home base) on that kind of income. T-town ain’t cheap! Maybe you did touch on the subject and I just somewhow missed it… if thats the case, sorry!

Thanks for the great suggestions, Francis!
I know a few people who are trying out other search engines to try and escape from under the thumb of The Big G. I’ve never heard of Qwant. Cool!

I read a comment of yours about digital nomadism in Quora and clicked on the link you provided in your post. That’s how I’m here in your blog!

I like your writing style and I’ve just put the series of financial case studies in my reading list: I find it unique and very educational! It remembers me the famous—in France— “Rue89″‘s series on ordinary people incomes: https://www.nouvelobs.com/rue89-votre-porte-monnaie-au-rayon-x/. But your goes further, with the past × today comparative.

I’m sure it’ll be a pleasure to discover more and more your site!

When it comes to the Google thing, I started this month using another search engine just for the pleasure of using something different! I’m now trying Qwant.com. Sometimes it’s not as powerful as Google but I’m keeping the test. I don’t know if this kind of marginal move matters for site’s revenues: Qwant has no snippets!
