Hey Lindsey, thanks for your comment! Yes we found the opportunity on Gumtree but I know that there are a few boats that offer the chance to do exactly the same thing as a ‘tour’. You pay around $15/day towards fuel and buy your own food for the journey. Nora’s post is really informative and there’s some great advice there so make sure you check it out!
