In reply to Juliet. Thanks so much Juliet! We did have a great time, though I have to say that I slept like a rock for a week afterward. That was a lot of adventure packed into one short time, especially with two little ones along for the ride.

Hi Julie,

It’s funny, I wasn’t at all scared of riding a camel … until I was actually about to step on top of one. Those beasts are TALL!

We only saw the Northern tip of the Sahara, but it was absolutely gorgeous. Definitely make time to go!

Great story. I definitely agree that camels are not the way to travel. On my camel trip in Merzouga after a few hours I ended up walking and my guide got on the camel!!

I love reading about trips to Morocco. It is a huge want of mine that I need to tackle sooner than later.

I am petrified of riding a camel, but I need to see the Sahara Desert.
