I also have a sweet tooth, so a cake is a great motivator for me. 🙂 I’m not a cyclist, but I can sat on the back of a motorcycle to see the views of the mountains when we travel to mountainous area.

In reply to Arianwen. Excellent, Arianwen, thanks! Yes, my legs were pretty wobbly by the end of the cycle ride, but the scenery was just so gorgeous, I kept wanting to see what was around the next corner so it was a great motivator!

Oh, this brings back so many memories. I did the same route last year. Were your legs killing by the end of the Chico Circuit?! I hope you have an amazing time in Ecuador. It was one of my favourite countries. Top picks: Galapagos, Mindo, Latacunga (for Quilotoa and climbing Cotopaxi), Puerto Lopez (for the whales, not for the scenery!) and Montanita if you fancy a party! I’ve also heard great things about Cuenca, but didn’t see it apart from the bus stop… Have fun and let me know if you want more tips!

Thanks so much for featuring our week, Nora. It’s fun to look back at this time when we’d only been on the road for a couple of months! We’re still really enjoying South America, but we’re also excited to be heading to Europe soon!
