@Amanda: Geez – we had better make it to WA, especially with a fellow Vagabondish writer to visit!

@Frank: Yes, it is a nice spot to be sure. You should see how green it gets here when it isn’t summer! It’s insane…(in a good way)…

@Scott: I would still like to think I am a Professional Hobo, as life happens while you are busy making plans, and we are fully prepared for life to continue to happen. If anything, the last seven months have seen us considerably more “settled down” than we anticipate the next while to be like! For example, I am coordinating four months of world travel in July, along with a trip out of the country in March, and lots of traveling within Oz prior to that. But as with the life of a Professional Hobo, nothing is written in stone…yet.

But then again, I guess all this stuff is in the eye of the beholder.

Sounds like over the past year you’ve basically just “settled down”. You found a nice place to live, that makes you happy. Nothing wrong with that.

Geday….. great news to hear you are staying on in Oz. I have been really enjoying reading your interpretation of “The Lucky Country”

Your new home looks to be in a great position with the mountain in the background and I can’t believe it is sooooo green. We live in geelong and it is very dry and droughty.

Love your philosopy and attitude re recycling and giving back – keep it up!!!

Hey, that’s great news – I’m so proud to hear you like Oz so much! And it’s very true that it’s a good op to see NZ/SE Asia and stuff from here. Much closer and cheaper. Hope that means you’ll make it over to Western Australia sometime too! Congrats on the big decision!
