Bethaney – Borscht is awesome. There’s a little bit of debate as to whether it’s originally Russian or Ukrainian, but the upshot is that everybody has their own recipe that they claim to “the best” borscht!

Hi Andy,
I certainly have no ambitions of returning to Ukraine (or any cold place for that matter) during the winter. In fact, I was incredibly lucky – Kiev had snow just a week prior to my visit, but it was a lovely 15 degrees (celsius) when I was there. Whew!
