Hi Penny,
There are soooo many hikes you can do in Peru that are great alternatives to the Inca trail! Some of them you can research and book before you arrive, but the best most “off the beaten path” trails you’ll come across by meeting local guides here and speaking with them.

Nature lovers must try trekking Huchuy Qosqo. It gives tourists a wonderful opportunity to see many Alpacas and llamas in their natural habitat. A must-visit place for a nice Peru trip.
