Hi Marta,
As I recall, they didn’t raise enough money to give the place away, so as promised, they shared the profits of the raffle with the winner(s).
I haven’t heard what has happened since.

So do we know whatever happened with the raffle results? I know that it was extended (as I was also a raffle member) but I don’t recall whatever happened after the extension. Did someone actually win?

In reply to George. Hi George, I heard about this raffle, and I remember it's great success! It may well have been the inspiration for the folks at la casa verde to do something similar. Not sure why it hasn't taken off as well. Maybe winning an island seems more exotic!

I agree with Nora..

However I have asked for a refund as my head says that this might be long drawn stalemate…

I haven’t heard about the ‘problem’ yet, however haven’t got the refund either….
I think they realized that they bit off more then they could ‘chew’ when the refund requests started coming in … Will let you guys know if I get the refund…

I truly believe the owners have the best of intentions with this giveaway, and their (limited time) offer to refund tickets for disgruntled patrons proves it even further to me. I don't believe this has anything to do with lying in business. I'm sorry you feel that way.
