@Kate – I can’t divulge ALL my travel plans here….then I’d have no reason to create a post about how I planned it out! Heh Heh….but the long and short of it is, I’ll probably be somewhere between Spain and the Netherlands between June and October. How’s that for vague! (What it means, is give me a place to be and good reason to be there – your presence suffices as good reason! – and I’ll be there!)

@Kate – Well, I may be headed for the UK this summer, so will have to try this squash/orange/diluted drink you speak of. Sounds interesting! As for checking out Toronto’s diagonal crossings, I’ll just have to take your word for it…for now…

Nora, Kia Ora in the UK is a drink officially classified as squash. Its a diluting juice kind of thing and I think it was mainly orange flavoured!
Currently I believe there to be 2 of these diagonal crossings in TO, Yonge and Bloor and Yonge and Dundas! Come back and see it for yourself! 😉

Being as conservative as I am, I did still manage to stop and tie my shoe in the middle of the intersection. My daughter was embarrassed but only because she knew what I was doing.
