@Frank (A.W.T – whoops I blew your cover!) – Thanks! It means a lot. And I do agree…although I used to be of the “peak-bagger” ilk (ie: counting summits, not journeys), I’m starting to see that the journey up and down the mountain is far more important. Cheers!

You might find a big step on your journey here

This was the best step to enable me to totally let go and let my intuition guide me, because when the fear goes, intuition kicks back in again. I don’t make decisions anymore unless it feels balanced, because I can actually trust my feelings again. It works far better than the “controlling” way I was addicted to.

A few thoughts about your adventure, Nora.

First, the walkabouts I have seen depicted in the movies look much easier than what you described.

Second, you went further than all the millions of people who never leave their couch or their keyboard, let alone even possess a passport.

It seems to me that success doesn’t always mean making it to the top of the mountain.
Success is what you see and what you learn on the way up and back.

Cute Nora, you should have a t-shirt made up with “WWND?”

Finding ones limits is just as much a part of maturing as all of the other challenges we face in life. I have always believed if I never fail, I’m just not challenging myself enough. This sounds like it was a watershed moment for you… I hope you find more this year.
