Hi Elles,
Yep – I plan to try my hand at some of these plant medicine ceremonies, led by shamans. (I’ve already tried San Pedro…..wow). I’m not sure about writing about it yet – like you say it’s a bit controversial – and also it’s an intensely personal experience that can be difficult to put into words. But I’m glad you asked; I’ll think about it!

Are you going to try that too? I know it might be a bit controversial, but I’d love to read about it if you do decide to do it. Sounds like an intense experience…
Love your site, stories & tips!!

Sid – When I was on Machu Picchu, one of the theories we explored was the idea that the Incas didn’t actually build those ruins; that instead, they were built by “others” billions of years in the past – which coincides with the theories in that documentary you watched.
And you know what? After visiting Machu Picchu, I would have to say, anything’s possible.

Maria – Well, Peru is an incredible place of healing, that’s for sure. The Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu are tops! Apparently the Dalai Lama (and others) have now proclaimed that the energy lines of healing that made Nepal the centre of healing on earth have now moved to Peru….all the more reason for you to visit! 🙂

I have seen hundreds of documentaries on Peru’s culture and lifestyle. Another stunning documentary on Peru is related to aliens and the ancient civilizations that might exist on our planet over a billion years past. I always dreamed of visiting Peru and i would surely, i am planning my trip to there in May or June. BTW Nice sharing.

Been in a lot of pain for over a year now. All tests keep showing I have nothing wrong… Yet I’m typing this with voice recognition software because pressing a key would be like lighting my fingers on fire…!

Miki – I’m tickety boo now! Although I’ve also seen an excellent chiropractor, and I just went trekking in the Andes for 5 days – a very healing experience! All in all, I’m finding Peru to be very healing.
