Hi Corinne – I was so pleasantly surprised by all the wildlife in Panama; if that’s something that attracts you to destinations, then yes! Go to Panama! 🙂

Panama just started catching my attention more and more. I’ve seen tons of awesome photos, and yes, for me a lot of is about the wildlife. I love, love, love the bug! So colorful!

That bug with the leaf legs are great, but those prawns, whoa! They must be delicious. I can’t get over how huge they are!

Hi Samantha,
Oh great. Now that I know Costa Rica has all the icky bugs – I’m scared to go again! Ha ha!
I’ve had my share of the ugly ones – huge centipedes take the cake for scariest! Although the Australian Huntsman spider is pretty grotesque….but not nearly as harmful/painful if they bite.

Panama wildlife is great but wait until you get to Costa Rica. It has the largest percent of biodiversity in the world! That bug is pretty big though…so far since I’ve lived in Costa Rica all I run into is the huge yucky bugs – scorpions, spiders, gigantic grasshoppers and huge centipedes that scare the daylights out of me.

Jennifer – When I was originally headed for Costa Rica, I was terrified of the ugly scary bugs – before I even got there! But now, having lived in a number of places with REALLY big ugly scary bugs, I think I’d have a much better handle on it. 😉
