@Andi – Yup, I’m jealous about the rainforest canopy walk as well. And to sense the energy of the Ghana game must have been incredible. I was in Germany for their last two games, and it was great fun. But Africa would have been a different ballgame (pun intended) entirely!

Oh wow, what an incredible week! I’m dying to see more of Africa. So cool that you were there for the World Cup and got to experience the energy and excitement. Also that rain forest canopy walk looks beyond amazing!!!

I had the chance to meet Dave while he was in Jamaica and it was fascinating listening to his stories from West Africa. That said, it was awesome to read about his experiences again, in diary-like form, with pictures. Thanks for posting this, Nora!

What great pictures! I will definitely be frequenting this blog! It’s a way for me to travel, without ever going anywhere!

It’s sad to learn about some of the brutality in other countries, be it past or present.
