Yep – Love Encircled! I’ve owned quite a few pieces from Encircled: the Chrysalis Cardi, Evolve Top, Flipside Leggings, and Revolve Dress. Love them all! The material is sooooo soft. I tried the Dressy Sweatpants, but I felt like they weren’t flattering (I think it depends on your body type).

Like you say, price isn’t always the first factor to consider. Cost per wear is a better metric.

For anybody else who is reading this, you can see one of my reviews of an Encircled piece of clothing here (with links to my other clothing reviews right there): https://www.theprofessionalhobo.com/2016-travel-gear-roundup-dont-leave-home-without/

Yo! Yo! What to wear when I travel is a constant conundrum for me. I have a really distinct personal sense of style based on a lot of bright patterns and colors, vintage styles with a contemporary, slightly punky edge. I don’t like looking boring but I also really love lightweight, utilitarian fabrics. This post is really giving me food for thought. Also, have you tried Encircled’s Dressy Sweatpants? I pretty much live in them for travel now. Not cheap, but they’ve definitely paid for themselves by now!

Hi Jan,
Check out the Anatomie site to see if they have any upcoming trunk shows in Canada. But for the most part, unfortunately, I don’t think there are any retail outlets in Canada for Anatomie.

Hi Bianca,
The Anatomie showroom is in Miami – you should check it out, so you can see/touch/feel/try on some swag yourself. You might change your mind about value once you get your hands it.
As for other brands of pants/capris that are perfect for travel, I’m not specifically loyal to any other brands of clothing; I just get what looks and fits nice. To be honest however, almost everything I have now is Anatomie clothing, so I’m a bad person to ask!

Ive posted a couple of times here … the update is that I finally have my flight … going to Vietnam in October! Anyway! Got the bag following your wheeled back pack advise … Met someone with a Caribee and found it on line so I bought one that is smaller tan his … will see how that goes … in regards to clothes I do see that this Brand that you review is pretty nice but indeed expensive … I am going to be in MIami in a week and want to do some shopping for pants/capris, etc … have you reviewed or know of more affordable brands that are also good for traveling? Im looking for fresh fabrics and that dont wrinkle … anything you can tell me will be great!

Hi Hannah – Ha ha, you spotted the shoes – which are very NOT travel-friendly! I had some extra room in my bag when I was in Europe that summer, and picked up a cheap pair of wedges to up the classy-factor while out and about.
Once they broke in, the shoes were actually quite comfortable, but they don’t form any part of my full-time travel entourage!

I’m eyeing up the dress. It looks comfy as well as flattering. Were those shoes comfortable for walking in?
