Meet Tim Leffel, Venerable Travel Writer Living in Mexico <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tim Leffel is an author, travel writer, and publisher with more than 25 years of experience. He has won dozens of \u201cbest travel writing\u201d awards over the course of his career and is frequently invited to speak at writers\u2019 conferences and travel industry events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He began as a travel freelancer while circling the globe three times over several years of travel and has written for Outside, Lonely Planet, USA Today, Global Traveler, and multiple newspapers and airline magazines. He is the author of five books, some of them in multiple editions, including The World\u2019s Cheapest Destinations<\/a> and the best-selling moving abroad title A Better Life for Half the Price<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the head of Al Centro Media publishing company, he oversees five online magazines and blogs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Cheapest Destinations Blog<\/a> is one of the longest-running travel blogs on the web, established in 2003. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
